Velma joined the Christ Church Paarl team on a part-time basis at the end of 2023. Her areas of responsibility include communication, media and data management.  She previously worked in website administration and project management in the private sector, converting to part-time church administration roles while raising her two kids.

She is at her happiest using her admin and systems skills to serve God’s kingdom so currently also works part-time for The Gospel Coalition Africa and the Charles Simeon Trust. Dark chocolate and jigsaw puzzles also make her happy.
