About Us

We are a part of a vibrant, evangelical,  Bible-based denomination called the Church of England in South Africa (CESA).   Our denomination’s motto is “God’s Word above all things.”   Here at Christ church we endeavor to be ‘a caring, Bible-based church, which equips its members to serve and evangelize Paarl and beyond.’

And so thanks for showing an interest in our church family.  We are simply a group of people who meet together in unity, love and warm Christian fellowship.  We recognise that we are imperfect people living in a world with imperfect people, and the reality is that we all need a Saviour.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to know God and salvation, and all life without Him is meaningless.

This is why we love and teach the Bible.   The Bible is all about Jesus, and it’s all about God’s awesome rescue plan for people.  It is an amazing book, it answers all our deepest questions and points us to one who meets our deepest needs.

We trust you will want to know more about our church family.

Partnering in the Gospel

We encourage people to partner with us in the gospel, understanding that an obvious requirement of becoming a partner is a warm and active faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Our partners agree to: -

  • Be accountable: to other Christians in an ongoing way in true biblical fellowship. Partners are to be willing to submit to the loving rule of the leaders. Be active in ministry in serving the body of Christ for the sake of Christ; using their spiritual gifts for the benefit of the body.
  • Be responsible: for assisting Christ Church Paarl to fulfill her mission statement, namely to be a ‘…caring, Bible-based church, which equips its members to serve and evangelize Paarl and beyond’.
